A medley of urban gardening, experimental cooking, family medicine, and my life.

Text

slow day at the clinic: a poem

half-filled bottle of
gentrified asian tea
with poetry printed
next to the FDA label,
sitting in the doctor’s office waiting
but I am the doctor (or so they
call me).

Zetia valtrex ortho tricyclen
lo. and behold.
I am on the inside
next to the referrals
and the proselytizing of
industry, and I am waiting.
