I am so excited about this. I’m a (new) family nurse practitioner and have long lamented about the lack of fruit & vegetables in some of the poorer neighborhoods of new york. I used to work a family clinic in Bushwick (shout out to La Providencia Family Health Center) and there was this mango vender on the corner of DeKalb and Myrtle who was just awesome. One of my favorite days was when Cindy and I saw a patient who brought us fruit from the mango stand as a gift. Go, fruit venders!
