A medley of urban gardening, experimental cooking, family medicine, and my life.

benjaminstein:

Lauren and Dan at their engagement party last night.  The backdrop is Wall-E the Waterfall, which he made in their backyard this week out of roofing material.  He drilled 1,500 small holes in the surface and poked christmas bulbs through them (10 strands, 144 bulbs each).  A sump pump at the bottom cycles water to the top, which then pours down the front like a waterfall.  It’s pretty awesome.
Slightly higher resolution versions of the photo are on Flickr.

Pretty awesome, but not as awesome as this amazing picture.
